There may not be another avenue in the US as culturally condensed as 4th Avenue in Tucson. If you are looking for art, events, exquisite dining, shopping, bars, or otherwise; then look no further than 4th Avenue.

The art galleries, studios, and music on 4th Avenue are not to be missed. This eclectic avenue represents hundreds of artists in various facets throughout the year. They will be showcased during yearly events, as well as have shops and stalls all over 4th Avenue. In fact, most things on 4th Avenue have artist value. You can find custom furniture, custom framing, and even tattoos. It would seem everyone is an artist on 4th Avenue.

Shopping on 4th Avenue, or “Tucson’s Street of Dreams”, can be just as exciting as exploring the art scene. They really have a vast representation of nearly all shopping genres in their 100 shops. You can find a spa, health food store, and vintage clothing shops. If these are not appealing to you, try one of the furniture stores, the candle shop, or the computer store. It will be difficult to walk away without having purchased something.

End a day on 4th Avenue right. Experience the generous offering of live music, the 2nd Saturday of each month, at “Saturday on 4th Avenue” throughout the summer. Not to be outdone by the summer, many other festivals are held throughout the year: Winter Street Fair, Spring Street Fair, Rendezvous on the 4th, All Souls Precession/Parade, Kids Halloween Costume Contest, Greater Arizona Bicycle Swap Meet, Fords on Fourth, and Rodders Days. It is a lively and busy avenue.

The final part of the 4th Avenue charm is the trolley. Be certain to take it between your artistic, shopping, and dining adventures. It can be said that 4th Avenue Tucson has a little something for everyone.
